Dr. Flora Bessey is the Senior Medical Science Liaison for Long Term Care at Acadia Pharmaceuticals. She collaborates with healthcare professionals and key decision makers in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living centers to support patient care and help them achieve operational goals

Prior to joining Acadia, Dr. Bessey spent 20 years as an independent consultant providing a wide array of pharmacy, regulatory, and medication management consulting services helping to improving outcomes for the elderly and vulnerable patient populations.

Dr. Bessey is a graduate of Midwestern University – Chicago College of Pharmacy, earning both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate degree in Pharmacy. She is a  Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and holds 2 active licenses, one in Illinois and the other in California.
