Dr. Jessie Nia Hwang is the Associate Director of U.S. Medical Strategy of Immunology at Bristol Myers Squibb. She is responsible for supporting the team in implementing the company’s strategy for their deucravacitinib program launch in dermatology.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hwang has held several prominent positions within the company including Manager of Orencia Global Publications and Associate Director of Business Development. She is also a leader having served as the National President and the first Executive Chairwoman of the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA).

Dr. Hwang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Spelman College, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is also a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) by the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP). Dr. Hwang is an active alumnus and is deeply passionate about diversity in clinical trials.
