Dr. Pratil Lal is the Senior Director of Medical and Professional Affairs for Warby Parker. He leads the entire Eyecare and Vision Services department, which includes employee and sublease optometrists, while playing a strategic role in guiding the organization towards holistic eye and vision care.

Before joining Warby Parker, Dr. Lal was a Director of Health & Wellness for Walmart where he was responsible for optometric relations, operations management, business development, professional education, and clinical training. He also lived and worked in Canada having served as the Chair for both Doctor Mentorship and Customer Experience Development for IRIS The Visual Group.

Dr. Lal holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Queen’s University. He is passionate about leadership development, the doctor experience and is always looking for innovative ways to improve the quality, affordability and access to eyecare.
