Dr. Hassan Tetteh is the Health Mission Chief at the United States Department of Defense (DoD) Artificial Intelligence Center. He helps advance the objectives of the DoD AI Strategy and improves warfighter healthcare and readiness with artificial intelligence implementations. In addition to his Medical Degree from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University , he holds 3 Masters degrees: one in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, one in National Security Strategy from the National War College, and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University – Carey Business School.

Dr. Tetteh is a US Navy Captain, board-certified heart and lung transplant surgeon, and popular speaker. He is a bestselling author of four books, has finished 21 marathons on two continents, and delivered the popular TEDxJHUDC talk “From Death to Life”.  He has served as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer for the United States Navy and is an official member of the Forbes Technology Council.
